Regan started dancing at an early age at her mother’s dance school Dance Connection Studios where she completed her Teaching Certificates in 2002. Regan worked at Dance Connection Studios for years, teaching, choreographing and also working in administration roles within the school and escorting students to various Dance Examinations, Seminars, Eisteddfods, Dance Summers Schools, Overseas Performance Troupes. Inspired by her mother's success in the dance industry and seeing firsthand the impact high standards had on the students. She opened Mareeba Academy Of Dance in 2017.
Mareeba Academy of Dance is in its infancy and has had a rapid growth rate since its establishment.

Rae Gear
Senior Teacher

Rae started dancing at her mother's dance school Dance Connection Studios at the age of 3. During this time she attained her teaching qualifications.
In 2010 she attended the prestigious McDonald College Performing Arts School in Sydney graduating in 2013. She then went on to study a fulltime dance at Brent St Sydney in 2014 where she completed a Certificate 4 in Dance, Musical Theatre, Singing, Acting. She also has training in Ballet and Acrobatics. Over the past few years Rae has been choreographing many competition routines bringing fresh new and exciting routines to Far North Queensland. Rae also offers one on one vocal coaching. Rae joined her sister Regan at Mareeba Academy of Dance in 2017 and is enjoying the exciting times ahead training the stars of the future.
